Peter was called to the Ontario Bar in 1990.
|
|
Peter provides quality, cost-effective legal advice, negotiation, drafting, and advocacy skills to a
|
range of publicly traded and private businesses and to individuals. He acts as general counsel or
|
as special counsel to businesses and senior management businesses, advising most commonly
|
in areas of corporate structuring, capital markets and securities compliance, private placements,
|
debt financings, venture capital, advocacy before securities regulators, mergers, acquisitions and
|
other transactional work, contracts, intellectual property protection, licensing and distribution
|
matter.
|
|
Peter co-founded a text media, games and promotions company and remains active in its
|
business. From time to time he is involved in feature film work. Peter co-founded a self-help
|
legal software publishing company. He sits on a number of boards of directors and advisory
|
boards. His work has taken him through Canada, the USA and Europe, negotiating for my own
|
interests oron behalf of clients.
|
|
His office also actively provides services to clients in areas of incorporations, shareholder
|
agreements, joint ventures, residential and commercial real estate, syndications, construction,
|
employment matters, and commercial litigation. Peter have appeared as lead counsel in
|
commercial disputes in both trial courts and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

|
Peter is also active in plaintiff litigation, lending his expertise to various class actions at MSMT.
